GOUACHE ON PAPER

My interest in working with gouache began at the age of twelve when I acquired my first set of paints thanks to the recommendation of my 6th-grade teacher, Mrs. Mitchell. I was immediately fascinated with the material’s ability to yield a flat, opaque color and the velvety surface that results from its traditional application.
