I’ve been thinking a lot about the concept of luck, both bad and good, and how we can foster positivity and more good fortune in our lives through the objects we hold close. Beginning with ideas of protection and security, these small, circular panels are intended to act as talismans for the owner; they are tokens of love, luck, and good fortune, imbued with the positivity and hopefulness I felt while painting them.
 
They are intended to act as my “tiny wish,” for you, bringing you good fortune and luck throughout the year. 
 
These pieces are all painted by hand and airbrush utilizing Holbein Acryla Gouache on round wood panels. They are then sealed with a cold wax medium. They do not need to be framed, in fact, there is a hanging mechanism on the back, so all you need is a hammer and nail to install the piece in your space. The edges of each panel are also painted, and they cast a radiating color glow when placed on a white or light-color wall.
